A Natural Strategy for Prostate Health

A Natural Strategy for Prostate Health

It’s a universal problem that affects ALL men and women in their lives. As men age, the prostate gland increases to nearly twenty times its original size, from 1.5 grams at birth to 30 grams, as men reach 70 years old. As the prostate grows men experience symptoms like frequent urination, or difficulty in starting the urine stream. The condition is known as BPH (Benign Prostate Hyperplasia). I’m sure you’ve seen the commercials on TV for the drug that will reduce the size your prostate. BPH is one of the most common age-related conditions in men. It usually affects men over the age of forty. By age fifty, more than half of all men exhibit some degree of prostate disease, and when they reach their eighties, their risk of prostate disease increases to 90%. BPH is virtually a universal result of the aging process in men. Of course, Big Pharma has a drug for you, but did you know that BPH can be avoided using natural therapies?

It’s a fact that the number of new prostate cancer cases is on the rise. It’s also a factor, confirmed by a review of autopsy findings, that a significant percentage of the men with underlying prostate cancer didn’t even know it. That’s because most prostate cancers are slow-growing and most men with prostate cancer will die WITH prostate cancer, not FROM prostate cancer.

This is a crucial issue for men, and women in their lives, and it must be addressed in an educated manner. Conventional treatment options for prostate disorders are draconian. I know a number of men who have been treated for both prostate cancer and BPH, using a number of the different available treatment options. I can honestly tell you that none of them is happy with the treatment outcome and if given the opportunity, they would have pursued natural treatment before resorting to more invasive procedures.

The most widely used measure of prostate health is the PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) screening. Your doctor will tell you that the PSA screening can detect cancer at an early stage. What your doctor doesn’t tell you is that the PSA screening is WRONG 70% of the time, and more than likely, you will be subjected to painful, invasive surgical procedures just to rule-out cancer. However, recent advances in imaging technology have given rise to a noninvasive test that can confirm a false-positive PSA screening and prevent the patient from undergoing a biopsy procedure?

I interviewed one of the most prominent urologists in America on my radio show, The Natural Health Hour. According to my guest Ronald Wheeler, MD, such a test exists, and he is pioneering the use of this valuable screening tool. Dr. Wheeler is an internationally known urologist and director of the Diagnostic Center for Disease in Sarasota, Florida. If you are a male over the age of forty, or if there is a man over the age of forty in your live, you must hear what Dr. Wheeler has to say about his natural strategy for prostate health.
